The location, convenience, and comfort were the most important while we chose a place to stay and the Rio Vista Hotel did not disappoint. The plus being next door to the bakery for a delicious cinnamon roll and hot Latte made for the perfect stay.
Everything from the minute, we checked in to the minute we left was absolutely wonderful! Such a great, great location… right near the downtown area and all rooms facing the river… So beautiful! Love the room amenities and staff so helpful! The gentleman at the front when we checked in was awesome as was the housekeeping staff to get the room ready to perfection! Highly recommend and really hope we can be back again soon!
Very clean and in a wonderful location! We had cleaning service daily, which was nice after day of hiking. We stayed on the river side and it was nice sitting outside listening to the river! The staff was very helpful. We can’t wait to come back!!
Great stay for the setting - lived up to expectations. Very clean, conveniently located to enjoy the charm of downtown Winthrop. Service was excellent, the view and sound of the river from the private balcony was great. There’s no pool, breakfast, laundry services, etc on site but we knew that going in so weren’t disappointed. Would stay again.
We were warmly welcomed and learned where everything was on the property. The check-in was efficient. The best part is when we got to our room. The view was spectacular, the room clean, it smelt good, and was aesthetically nice.
On a random decision to relax with a hotel rather than camp on my fall photography outing I couldn't of made a better choice with this establishment. The parking and easy to access room were a bonus and the views... I walked down along the river but from the room just as pretty. The rustic feel of the rooms and the basic necessities made for a pleasant stay. Checkout was so simple and you've earned a repeat customer. Thanks
Perfect location at the end of the downtown strip, and on the riverfront with full river views from all the rooms. Walking distance to everything. The rooms were clean and comfy. I will say the toilets are pretty small, probably the smallest I've used since potty training back in the day
